In Ontario, all new home builders and sellers must be licensed by the Home Construction Regulatory Authority (HCRA).
The Ontario Builder Directory, hosted by HCRA, allows you to quickly check a builder’s licensing status, years in business, number of homes built, and any regulatory actions, including conduct concerns, charges, or convictions.
